Building a transborder recovery tool : Save the Debt, the DL4T Project.
Save the Debt is a an advanced legal debt collection SaaS (Software as a Service) for lawyers. The project has been developed by the Institute Deep Law for technologies (UCA), and aims at automatizing transborder recovery monitoring. STD relies on an insolvency tracking service that helps lawyers monitor their clients’ cross border debtors and receive notification in case the clients’ debtor is in bankruptcy or liquidation proceedings. The SaaS uses different technologies and programming tools. The prototype, built with the Ruby language, uses text mining on journal of legal notices. Using blockchain for electronic signature and machine learning to automatically fill in legal forms was also considered. “
